Purpose

RefillDateCalculator.org publishes calculators and plain-language explanations for refill date math. The site is not a medical, legal, pharmacy, insurance, or controlled substance authority.

Content Standards

  • Calculator pages should explain arithmetic before policy.
  • Unsourced legal, clinical, insurance, DEA, benefit-manager, or Medicare claims are avoided.
  • Universal statements are softened when plan, pharmacy, medication, or state rules may vary.
  • No pharmacist, clinician, or official review is claimed unless a real reviewer is documented.
  • Policy-heavy pages are normalized to avoid guarantee-style language when the real answer depends on a specific pharmacy, plan, state, prescriber, or medication.
  • Rankable pages must include visible calculator scope, safety language, internal links to supporting tools, and source references where official rules or cost programs are discussed.

Search and Indexing Standard

Pages intended for Google Search are kept indexable only when they are calculator-first, conservative in wording, and useful as standalone planning resources. Redirect-only legacy URLs remain noindexed or redirected so old search results consolidate into the canonical calculators instead of splitting signals.
